Mr. Mathuria (born 1947) has been serving as the Principal of Prag Narain Mook Badhir Vidyalaya Samiti (Prag Narain School for the Hearing Disabled) since its foundation in 1968.

He holds M.A. and LL.B. degrees from Agra University and a Diploma in Hearing-Handicapped Education from the renowned Training College for Teachers of the Deaf, Lucknow (1968).
With a lifelong commitment to the education, rehabilitation, and empowerment of children with hearing disabilities, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the institution into a centre of learning, discipline, and social responsibility.

of persons with disabilities, the Principal has been honoured with:
- State Award by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh – 1999
- National Award by the President of India – 2001

Institutional Recognition
Prag Narain School is recognised by the Basic Education Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh up to Junior High School level.
The institution has also been selected by the Government of India, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, New Delhi, among 158 institutions across the country for maintaining a consistent record of good performance and service.
